This exhibition, which will open its doors until September 12, will show the public photographs of Antonio Morales, which make a nod to work of El Bosco. 
 
The municipal delegate of Culture, Susana Rivas; the director of the Museum of Chiclana, Jesús Romero; and the author of the works, Antonio Morales, have inaugurated the exhibition ‘El jardín de las delicias’, which will be open to the public at the Museum until September 12.
In this exhibition, which will last until September 12, visitors will be able to enjoy an important selection of works by the artists, as well as conferences, screenings, book presentations, etc.
 
The mayor of Chiclana, José María Román; the delegate of Culture, Susana Rivas; and the relatives of Costus, Ricardo Carrero and Beatriz Naya, have inaugurated the exhibition ‘Costus in Chiclana’, which will be open to the public until September 12 at the Museum of Chiclana.
This is the Japanese edition of the work by José Luis Gutiérrez Molina, published in 2005, which tells the story of the struggle for workers' rights in Chiclana at the beginning of the 20th century.
 
The Museum of Chiclana has received the donation of the book 'Anarchism in Chiclana. Diego Rodríguez Barbosa', which is the Japanese edition of the work by José Luis Gutiérrez Molina, a work published for the first time in the Library of Chiclana themes, of the Delegation of Culture of the City Council of Chiclana.
This exhibition will run until 12 September and visitors will be able to enjoy an important selection of works by the artists, as well as lectures and screenings, among other activities
 
The major of Chiclana, José María Román, the cultural delegate, Susana Rivas; and Costu’s family members, Ricardo Carrero and Beatriz Naya, have presented the exposition “Costus in Chiclana”, that will be held from June, 18th to September 12th in the museum of Chiclana.
 
 
This exhibition is the result of acquisitions made in recent times, as well as restoration work and interesting research work.
 

The municipal delegate for Culture, Susana Rivas; the director of the Museum of Chiclana, Jesús Romero, and the artist Eduardo Martínez, have inaugurated the temporary exhibition 'Agustín Segura oculto', which will be open to the public in these facilities until 13th June.

The second temporary exhibition “Del Grego a Picasso. Taller de Copia” has been inaugurated

The new temporary exhibition consists of copies of original painting from El Greco, Velázquez, Goya or Picasso. The presentation was led by the Delegate of Culture, Pepa Vela, WHO was accompanied by the Director of the Museum, Jesús Romero and the painter and teacher of the workshop, Eduardo Martínez.

The exhibition will be open to the visitors until 27th November. 

The temporary exhibition “La Quinta del Poeta. Generación García Gutiérrez” has been officially inaugurated

On September 21st , the Delegate of Culture, Pepa Vela, and the Director of the Museum, Jesús Romero, attended to media to make it public.This gallery consists of authors and figures who  coexisted with  Antonio García Gutiérrez and it also includes some objects and pieces of that time.
The exhibition will be open to the visitors until 20th November. 

Noche en Blanco 2016

About 1000 people visited the Museo de Chiclana during the last two “Noches en Blanco”

Most visitors were the chiclaneros and chiclaneras who, attracted by the town's leisure activity options, decided to know more details about the history of the city through the different rooms offered by the museum. The events took place on 22 July and 12 August.

The Vice President of Emsisa, Carmen Jiménez and the director of the Museum, Jesús Romero,  received the donation of five artistic works made by Daniel Gil, and artist from Segovia.

These works are based on landscapes of the coast, specially places like marshes , estuaries and beaches for which the author feels very attracted.
The techniques used in these works made between 2004 and 2005 were etching and aquatint .

Pages
