On dates close to the celebration of the Book Day, we offer an approach to the very rich world of writing and books. Writing utensils, supports, formats, bindings,... Printing and paper will have, of course, a prominent place in this story.
José Manuel Vela Bolaños, current president of the Association of Nativity Scenes, began in 2010 a task that has kept him busy until now: the scale reproduction of the classic steps of the Chiclana Easter. Some of them we have been able to enjoy, as a sample, in the show windows of our city. Now, the Museum of Chiclana gathers them and shows them to the public for the first time together, as a unique work.
It was not only the profession - deeply vocational in the case of both of them - that united, and still unites, the Caballero Espinosa brothers. Also their love for playmobil. One passion and the other come together in this original proposal with which Enrique Caballero pays tribute to his brother Víctor Jesús -Tote for those closest to him- and takes care, in an endearing way, of his memory. Apart from other elements, more than five hundred characters -playmobil duly customized- will recreate the reality of the Civil Guard. This exhibition will delight the little ones, but not only them.
