The pieces of the month

Last week took place the presentation of some pieces in the Museo de Chiclana.On the one hand, it was presented “La pieza del Mes”, the original book of Padre Salado.He was a parish priest who stood out for defending the workers and he founded the Sindicato de Viticultores Chiclaneros.The book is accompanied with a commemorative medal. On the other hand, the “Pieza Invitada” is the Cruz de Distinción of the Batalla de Chiclana created by Fernando IV in 1815 and the commemorative diploma of the battle.The official presentation was made by the Delegate of Culture, Pepa Vela, and the Director of the Museum, Jesús Romero.
