A few days ago, the government team publicly stated its commitment to flamenco, which is also the commitment of the city itself. The Museum of Chiclana wanted to contribute to this common task of our local culture and culture in general.
Under the evocative title "Entre duendes" and the suggestive subtitle "Signos, trazos y retazos flamencos", the municipal Delegate of Culture, Susana Rivas, inaugurated a few minutes ago this exhibition, a particular tribute to Flamenco to Flamenco to the thread of the recognition of the same one on the part of the UNESCO like Intangible Cultural Patrimony.
Ramón Pareja, man of theater, is the author of the idea that encompasses, of the texts that accompany and the plastic works that are exposed. For years, Pareja has been carrying out these works, has been collecting the pieces that are shown here and has been carefully guarding the dedications to him that he now shares with us. Behind the pieces and the dedications, Manolo Sanlúcar, Paco de Lucía, Moraito, José Mercé, Carmen Linares, Manuela Carrasco, Manolo Marín, Antonio Canales, Merche Esmeralda, Rancapino, Cristina Hoyos, Tomatito, Vicente Amigo, Lebrijano, Agujetas or, among many others and with Chispa in between, Camarón.
This new Temporary Exhibition of the Museum of Chiclana - the second of those programmed for the summer season - will be open to the public, in the usual summer schedule, from June 27 to August 27.
