Aware that a large number of visual artists from Chiclana—or those with very close ties to the city—are underrepresented in the town’s art collections, the Chiclana Museum began several years ago to build a collection of images of Chiclana created by these artists, a project that is still ongoing, as there are many more talented artists to be included.
The exhibition features works by, among others, Manolo Cano, Ramón Pareja, Enrique Quevedo, Agu Ariza, Eduardo Martínez, Rosario Ramos, Jesús Bey, Ana Aragón, Kapry, Daniela Martínez, Agustín Pérez, Juan Luis Núñez, and Mari Carmen Huerta. Alongside these, the exhibition also features works by people who passed through here… and left their mark: Daniel Gil Martín, Sebastián Varas Mackenzie, Pedro Carlos Orozco Tristán, Miguel Pablo Castilla, and Antonio Manuel García Guerra.
